Measure Your Home with Your Phone Camera

Forgot your measuring tape? No problem. Point your phone, tap the corners, and get an estimate in meters.

1. Choose a reference object

We use a known-length item visible in the frame to calculate real-world scale.

2. How it works

  1. Place it flat. Tape or hold your reference object flat against the wall you're measuring.
  2. Hold the phone parallel. Keep the phone parallel to the surface — tilted angles distort the measurement.
  3. Snap a photo. Then tap the reference ends and the points you want measured.

Note: this gives a rough estimate (±5–15% typical). For an exact figure, request a free on-site measurement.

On iPhone? Use Apple's Measure app for AR-accurate readings.

The built-in Measure app uses ARKit (and LiDAR on Pro models) to point-and-tap real distances — no reference object needed. Read the numbers, then send them to us for a quote.

If nothing happens, open the Measure app manually from your iPhone home screen.
